Recovery Resources Foundation values its volunteers. We aim to develop and support our volunteers in a number of ways: you will have regular 1-1 supervision with a Volunteer Support Worker, we hope that we can help you to develop skills and confidence to move into the workplace, and we reimburse your out-of-pocket expenses. We encourage our volunteers to become involved in other aspects of the charity's work, if they so wish, and to bring their ideas and enthusiasm to the role.

We are seeking a volunteer part-time administrator to help in the office with administrative tasks for up to 6 hours per week.

Volunteers are needed for Recovery Cafes, to manage, cook and serve food. We provide training and support for these roles. The cafes are based in Leyton (Tuesday evening), Forest Hill (Thursday evening) and Barking (Wednesday evening).

We would like to recruit a volunteer to help us with marketing the cafes. This will involve social networking media, distributing cafe information, helping with the cafe newsletter, giving talks in treatment centres and other organisations and promoting the cafes at events. We would like you to have experience or knowledge of marketing, but training will be provided. If you have an interest in this volunteer position, please contact Christina.

We will also looking for people with other talents and skills (eg. creative, business, sales, fundraising, events organising), please contact us if you would like to be involved.

We would like to recruit a number of new trustees to the Board of Trustees, particularly those with experience or interest in the field of addiction. Please contact the Chair of the Trustees Sandra Abdelrahman if you are interested in finding out more about being a trustee.
